Nurses at Seton Medical Center have filed for a union election with National Nurses United. When they are successful, it will be a huge gain for the nurses aiming for decent staffing levels and work conditions, but it will also inspire other workers in Austin and be big boost to the labor movement in the city. To show your support for the nurses, you can pick up a yard sign 9 am – 5 pm, Monday – Friday at the AFL-CIO building at 1106 Lavaca St or have one delivered by filling out NNU’s request form.
